Bleah.. it's coming
I kinda sense it coming... cos I'm getting eating disorders.. been munching on chips which I stocked up from NTUC over the weekend... also munching non-stop in office... since we just bought Jack & Jill from this wholesaler recently. It's really bad.
It's probably called the sianz-at-work disorder... i feel restless after the short battle last week and the days just passed by so fast it seems I didnt get anything done. sadz.
Japan sometimes poses a distant-yet-fast-approaching problem. Trying to overlook the gloomy aspect..
hmm... on a brighter note, here are the things worth celebrating soon:-
1. Girlfriend's solemnization
2. Stephanie Sun's concert
3. Fly to Japan
4. Celebrate my day in style
5. Senior's wedding lunch
6. MayDay Concert!
I'll be so broke but hopefully very happy.

A peaceful weekend

Nua-ed at home today and finished this book... Talked about this girl Stella who was born with the gift to look into the future of others.. how they would likely die etc. Also talked about Stella's relationship with her mother, and her mother's relationship with her own mom's. Kinda reminded me of my own family ties. Hmmm... Pretty interesting and heartwarming at some parts. guessed that's why i managed to complete the book at one go. I'm seldom able to do that you know.
Also watched:-
1. He's just not that into you
2. School days with a pig
Quite an eventful weekend I would say. Peace before the CBD battle begins again. sigh.

Lesson of the five balls
Decided to be a bookworm today and headed to the lib after dance.
Borrowed James Patterson's "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas", my second read after "Sundays at Tiffanys". Thought of sharing the lesson of the five balls, which I read about here.
Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends and integrity. And you're keeping all of them in the air. But one day you finally come to understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls - family, health, friends and integrity - are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered. And once you truly understand the lesson of the five balls, you will have the beginnings of balance in your life.
It's quite a touching story really... guess i'll be back for more of Patterson's other stories.
Also listening to 方大同's Singalong Song.
