Set for Korea... or maybe not...

Not exactly sure if this is an impulse... but I think I am quite likely to visit South Korea in Oct... In a way, it feels as if I am rushing for something... on the other hand, actually there is no real urgency for me to travel in Oct too... could have saved the money for my bigger plan next year... wondering what I am thinking. Maybe it's a replacement for the taiwan trip with the family which I will be missing out on, in a way? I wonder.

Oh well... shall chew on it till 30 Aug and then I will decide.

New trip set... somewhat

Enjoyed this japanese movie at film fest today, with Shuyi, Don and Serena... It was a pretty much impromptu gathering as Shuyi's friends couldn't make it for the film... But the film was funny... lots of coincidental scenes which turned out to be all interconnected somehow... that's life I believe...

Anyway, my boss has kind of approved my leave in Oct so I may prolly head to Korea for yet another short vacation... there is, of course, the language barrier to worry about but then again, bin did manage well enough for three weeks in Korea by herself... so it may not be as bad as things sound too. gotta start planning for the trip. sounds pretty exciting actually... looking forward to having fun then. hee.

Life as it was...

Haven't been updating here as regularly as I used to... partly because I've turned to photo-blogging with my android on facebook. It's my latest pasttime on the train ride home... just three days ago, this pasttime was replaced by playing Bistro Cook. Feel like eating pan-fried shitake mushrooms now because I always fry it on Bistro Cook. Ha.

In a way, I am glad I bought the additional android. It's like my Yahoo!Mail + PSP + Camera + PhotoEdit all in one... love the camera and photo edit functions especially... because I can really take photos and upload them on the move now... but oh well, that's technology.

I'm hoping to take leave in Oct/ Nov too. Would love to go on another trip. Maybe Korea this time since I havent been there before. But priority would have to go to TW I suppose, since she hasnt been on any trip yet. Better ask her tmr then I suppose. After which it will be happy planning for either the Korea trip or my "study exchange" next year.

P/S  It's scary how it's coming to the end of the year soon. On the other hand, I'm about 5 movies away from my 50th movie this year. That's going to be a record! Bad influence from somebody. oops.

Weekend of miscomm

It was supposed to be a fitness-packed weekend. But due to various miscomm, my fitness plans were cancelled. It started with the sun hiking trip being called off because some got the dates wrong. Then my sat cycling plan was replaced by a walk through haji lane and lots of junk food.

Sigh. The only two good things that came out of this weekend were my new white esprit wallet and my short japanese language revision at gloria jeans. Shall try to keep it up with my self-studies. Yeah.

P/s. Wonder how long my white wallet can last before it turns dirty.

Officially a GAP member.

I fell in love with GAP in the month of July 2010. Actually more of re-kindled love since we first met in 2004 Tokyo.

Ended up being a member on 06.08.10. Too bad it's cardless. But I think I'll be back to buy more stuff.
Ha.

My lovely Sunday.

It's been a week since I returned from Shanghai. Time flew by but I was really glad I had a Sunday to myself to enjoy my reading (and not out there shopping. whew) .

Bought this book from Shanghai popular bookstore. Books there are really cheap. I would have loved to buy more books but my luggage would be too heavy then. Don't think my already bruised shoulders could take the additional weight and anyway, my room's too messed up to store any more books.

I like the cozy feeling of just lying in bed, reading my book and then sometimes getting a good cry over those sad scenes. It's a mindless way of frustration I suppose. When life gets a little challenged and you can't find a good shoulder to cry on, then crying over sad stories in books or movies are a great way to de-stress. Unfortunately I had a wedding dinner to attend later in the evening. Had to leave my house with slightly puffy eyes. yeeks.
