Degeneration of the Cells...
Lamented on FB that I felt like a kid today because I spilled my mocha with gelato and the whole napkin was soaked... Felt like a mess. Deduced that this must be a result of my over-sleeping over the weekend. I basically slept the whole of my Sunday away, and only chilled in the living room when the lights in my bedroom spoilt.
And then I realised that my GV movie ticket for New Year's Eve was wrong, when I walked into the theatre and saw somebody taking my seat. When we compared tix to see that both of us were holding K07 seat, I was shocked. And that was when I realised that the staff gave me tix for 10.50am when I had wanted to book for the 1.15pm show... argh... should have checked my ticket. And now on second thoughts, I shouldn't have just walked out of the theatre. I should have just taken my chances and tried other seats. wasted my $7.50.
I then headed to Cathay with a vengeance and evil plot to catch 3 consecutive shows. Unfortunately You're the Apple of My Eye sold out and I was left with 2 shows to watch. Nonetheless, I had a good break at Spineli's reading Jimmy's illustrations before the shows.
Of the two shows, I loved New Year's Eve. It was very encouraging and somehow made me look forward to the gathering with the babes on 31 Dec. Can't wait... though I would need to touch up on the prezzie first. :)
P/s Similar to Midnight in Paris, New Year's Eve made me want to walk from Orchard to City Hall, just to immerse in the colourful streets and take some pictures. Argh... i do want to go Paris very much.
