Countdown 2 weeks...

It will be another 2 weeks before I take the jlpt. Counting down now I suppose.

Slept at 3am last night because of year end party and ktv. Figured I would be super sleepy today. But surprisingly, I haven't yawned at all since I started studying. Thanks to a combination of Ya Kun tea and Starbucks mocha I guess. Just studying at a super slow pace because I'm playing with my phone time to time, to distract attention too. But oh well.

Anyway, received another big arrow last night - to organise the division year end party next year. Ultimate sianz-ness. On top of that, I'm concerned that this will affect my plans for my Japan immersion Oct - Dec next year. Haiyah... just kill me please.

Anyway, I've signed up for a NAFA certificate enrichment course. Hope that will brighten up my life a little. It's gonna get busy next year. :)

Back to school

Studying is an expensive hobby.

You find a nice cafe to camp out. Maybe have your dinner too, which is really unhealthy, since dinners at home are my main source of veg everyday. Then you go home really really tired and wake up late the next day, and end up taking cab to work. Ouch.

Not forgetting the many shopaholic temptations I have when I'm outside. Hmmm.

Wonder if it's cheaper to flunk and pay accom or mug everyday till 5 Dec. Lol. :)

My simple life...

Love being a bookworm...
Woke up late today; had my brunch, and decided to finish a storybook while charging my phone. By the time I finished my book, it was already 5pm. Headed out to mug for JLPT after that. And that was how I spent my Sunday... with books whole day... Kinda liked that. Guess I love to read books, but I don't remember the details and I don't like to study for exams. Just the reading process, I suppose...

I think... if I ever had a house of my own, I'll dedicate one room to be a library... because I love buying books and dramas/movies to keep... and taking them out once in a while to re-read or re-watch them. That would be my ideal kind of life I think. Simple... but ideal.

WHITE

From somebody's Colour Code Quiz result on Facebook

WHITES are motivated by peace. They seek independence and require kindness. They resist confrontation at all costs. To them, feeling good is more important than being good. They are typically quiet by nature, and process things very deeply and objectively with great clarity. Of all the colours, whites are the best listeners. They respect people who are direct but recoil from preceived hostility or verbal battle. Whites need their "alone time" and refuse to be controlled by others. They want to do things their own way and their own time. Whites are much stronger than people perceive, but are often not seen for their strength because they don't easily reveal their feelings. Whites are even-tempered, diplomatic, and the voice of reason. They can be indecisive, unexpressive and silently stubborn.

When you deal with a white, be kind, accept and support their individuality and look for non-verbal cues to their feelings.

Korea and back...

First horse-riding experience in Jeju, 20 October 2010

Well, I've been to Korea and back... Can't believe that it all happened so fast. Just a while back, I was still making plans for the trip and now, I've been there and back already. hmmm... wished I was still on holiday... *withdrawal symptoms*

Had a good trip, largely because of the cool weather. I think I am going to make October a permanent travel month. And I think I overspent a lot in Korea because I went crazy over all the cheaper beauty products. Also found this lovely shop near Hongik University which sells the type of accessories I like a lot... went crazy... Things aint always cheaper in Korea but yup, I think I'll prolly still head back to Korea again next year to explore other areas. Maybe alone this time... kinda miss travelling alone... I'll see how it goes...

Anyway, IDG Dance is finally over. Think I'm not a good employee because I just told my boss blatantly that I am not going to join dance next year. It's his umpteenth arrow at me and yet I still siam like nobody business. I am hopeless. Maybe he will sack me soon. Whoever said that female bosses were worse than male bosses? I think the opposite is more true for my case. hmm...

This is going to be a short week! Hooray! I am so looking forward to rest after IDG. D&D took up the whole of my Saturday. I felt so cheated of a break. bleah...

Miss Korea already...
