Having coffee bean breakfast at illuma before boring jap class. The muffin and salad looks super pathetic. So disappointing. Sob.

Hello to Amelie!

We met baby amelie png for the first time today! she's such a doll. haha.

Was sharing with my colleagues that in my short stint of two years at my work place, I've already visited four babies. Is it just my work place that's really pro-family? Feel old all of a sudden.

oh. and did i mention that tw has given birth to baby amelie this monday afternoon? Sep 28... we'll be off to see her tomorrow. so exciting. haha.

Sweet indulgence over the long weekend...

It's been a super duper sinful long weekend because of all the indulgences... Check out the list of criminal acts:-

Thursday - I had swensen's 1-for-1 dessert buffet (which translates into ten scoops of ice-cream with unlimited topping and two cakes), on top of my chili crab pasta.

Friday - Late night supper at holland V's Essential Brewz, after The Next Wave performance.

Saturday - Shokudo Ramen and red bean with matcha ice-cream dessert. Followed by Madame Saigon with xq and xin, followed by caramelized sweet potato and sesame ice-cream at Azabu Sabo.

Sunday - Late lunch with steamboat buffet, followed by coffee and tiramisu at Gloria Jeans, followed by Andersens' apple crumble (plus two scoops of ice-cream).

Monday - Coffee and blackforest cake at Hans while studying and waiting for thien.

Arghh... looking back, this has been a most unhealthy year. seem to be drinking lots of bubble tea and mocha every other day. Even much more than my school days in HC, when bubble tea first became popular. Hope I dun get diabetes man. dratz. Nonetheless, I love this long weekend. Why must tomorrow be a working day? sianz. :(

Just received a sms invitation to a wedding dinner but too bad I can't attend cos it clashes with another fren's wedding. Gee. I think this is the year with the most wedding bells le. Starting the countdown...

Red poppies

I planted red poppies in my bedroom today. Bought the decals from ikea. Think it goes well with my yellow wall, dont you think... Now, if i read books while lying on my bed, i'll imagine i'm in a garden of blooming flowers. Cool. :)

手指头的烟草味道
洗澡后的999牌肥皂味道
每晚神桌上的檀香
祭拜时焚烧的金银纸
维斯基或玫瑰露的醉人酒香
劳力工作后的汗洒露
偶尔会涂的红花油或绿色枫油。

那么多那么多的熟悉味道，概括了我对爸爸的记忆。 尽管不再交谈，在家里、在街上，我还是可以从微风飘散而来的味道，感受到爸爸的熟悉。

Fruitful saturday

Guess this was a fruitful saturday. Managed to go dance, read up on jap, and start scrapping my japan photos. Check out the mess in my room. But i'm a little stuck now. Lacking a fancy title for the page. Hmmm. Guess it's gonna be late night again.
