Haunted by lots of back-dated homework... and I guess I'll continue to be haunted till end of this year because I've just signed up for Japanese language course as well. sigh. 

Other randoms:

1. Went back hwa chong today to watch a dance performance, and realised I was sitting next to Mr Seow(?) my ex-econ teacher. felt wierd. the school atmosphere was pretty nostalgic though. 

2. Visited Shaw Lido yesterday. It has finally reopened after months of renovation. The new area looked spacious and comfortable. Prob time to catch a movie there soon. 

3. Recently my colleagues have a crazy idea, in an attempt to meet their KPI, i.e. marry me off. duh. They want to sign me up for this photography outing cum speed dating thingy. Hmm... we'll see how long their enthusiasm last and whether they really get anything done in the end.

Greedy Student...

Finally signed up for Japanese Language class again... This time at Ikoma Shaw House. After trying out JLPT2 prep courses at Bunka and JCS before, and giving up halfway, I really hope this time, things would turn out more positively.

I was also planning to take up another class at NAFA. Unfortunately, with my jap lang class on Mon and Thur now, I won't be able to fit in the NAFA schedule. The other sad thing about jap lang class is that I would have to give up jazz classes at o school on Mon and Thu too. Makes me think thrice if I should still go for my Jap Lang class. Arghh... not to mention the high possibility of lots of homework to do with two classes per week. yikes.

Next half of the year is going to be gross for sure, with the classes and possibly high volume of work. On the other hand, Japan keeps calling out to me with all the super pretty photos on facebook and airfare promos by SQ. sigh... Happy things over the next few months? Pius's wedding, Bro's solemnization, Geraldine's Hens Party and wedding dinner. Cheer up friend and hang in there. :)

Mini Revamp

Had to do some spring cleaning because dad wanted to re-paint the house. Felt so guilty for polluting earth with my junk. Arghh.

Jieling suggested that I could do a vintage bookshop cafe theme, if I wanted to re-do my room. Think that's quite cool. Will chew on it further. Time to visit ikea soon. :) in the meantime, I shall continue to de-clutter my room bit by bit.

Anyway, my sony ericsson T700 died on me this morning I think. Couldn't get it to start. Luckily I kept my old phone. Sigh. Let's see if I can revive it.

Had dim-sum buffet with XQ and Ade this afternoon at Goodwood Park Hotel, kinda post-bday celebration for XQ. The dim-sum was not bad. But I guess my stamina for buffet really dropped a lot. Didn't really eat as much as I would have loved to.

Both XQ and I bought DSLR recently; she bought her Nikon D5100 before my Canon 600D. I was actually considering between these two models before I eventually settled for Canon. I can't remember why I chose Canon over Nikon, even though the latter was much cheaper. hmm... Anyway, money's spent already so no point thinking about it anymore. Correct?

Commemorating my first voting day with DSLR

Bought my very first DSLR yesterday, 7 May, under the very good reason of commemorating my first voting day. Went to Botanic garden today to test out the camera and caught another couple taking their photoshoot. 

Could this be a sign that i should venture into wedding photography? haha.

Almost 10 years with Synergy. OMG.

It's been almost 10 years since I joined Synergy. Can't believe it's been that long and I've met these amazing people, including my buddy Thien, who's not in this photo.
