Mini Spring-Cleaning

Finally decided to clear away my expired cosmetic... most of which were the Estee Lauder set, bought together with Jiebin since a long long time ago, probably in 2006? Very wasted because I didn't use the make up set at all... Guess it was bought at a bad timing... when I couldn't appreciate the beauty of make-up and was too lazy. You could actually see mould growing on the blusher, lipstick etc. Ughh... That was how bad it was. :(

But anyway, thanks to the mini spring-cleaning, I found two new brushes which I bought from The Body Shop eons ago. I love the brushes... I was actually hunting for one recently cos I thought I misplaced mine blah blah... coincidentally I realised while shopping today, that Body Shop no longer manufactures that particular brush. Now I kinda felt like I discovered a treasure chest. ha. Cheap thrill you may say but watever... Luckily I decided to hold back and not splurge on other brushes today. whew.

Anyway, lesson learnt - I'll never buy so many make-up again. I only have one face and there's probably only thrice a month that I'll put on 80% make-up so why bother. Most of the time it's prolly just 10% i.e. foundation only. I guess money will be better spent on food/ movies/ books and clothes.

This time, I'm determined to cultivate the good habit of using up all my skincare/ make-up before I buy new ones. haha. Let's see if this resolution works out eh? ;p
